Terms of Use

Last updated: June 25, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Pillum (the "App"), a medication reminder and tracking app developed by Cetus Systems ("Cetus Systems," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Pillum, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

1. What Pillum is

Pillum helps you keep track of medications, vitamins, and prescriptions you choose to enter — including schedules, doses, refill supply, and adherence history. All of this information is stored locally on your device. Pillum does not require an account and does not upload your medication data to our servers.

Not medical advice. Pillum is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is a personal organization tool. Always consult a doctor or pharmacist before starting, stopping, or changing any medication. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately — do not rely on Pillum.

2. Reminders aren't guaranteed

Reminders are provided as a convenience, not a guarantee. Notification delivery can be affected by things outside our control — device settings, Do Not Disturb, battery optimizations, notification permissions, or OS-level restrictions. Pillum cannot guarantee that every reminder will be delivered, and you remain responsible for taking your medications as prescribed.

3. Your responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • The accuracy of any medication, dosage, schedule, or health information you enter into the App.
  • Verifying dosing information with a qualified healthcare professional or pharmacist.
  • Keeping your device secure, since your data is stored on it.

4. Eligibility

Pillum is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children. If you are a minor in your jurisdiction, you may only use Pillum with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App — for example, by reverse engineering it beyond what's permitted by law, interfering with its normal operation, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

6. Intellectual property

Pillum, including its design, branding, and underlying software, is owned by Cetus Systems and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal use. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

7. No warranty

Pillum is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reminders will always fire as scheduled.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cetus Systems will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, health outcomes, or missed doses, arising from your use of or inability to use the App — even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Termination

You may stop using Pillum at any time by deleting the App from your device. We may update, suspend, or discontinue the App, in whole or in part, at any time.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the App evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use Pillum after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your country or region of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
